Stamping Fools is a rubber stamp and scrapbook store located in mostly sunny Upland, California. It is owned by Laura Baldonado and Valerie Wells, sisters-in-law. We started stamping about 15 years ago and immediately decided it would be cheaper to own a store than to keep buying stamps from everyone else! It was definitely cheaper as we stopped going shopping on weekends, stopped going on vacation and concentrated all our free time with the store. Over the years we’ve started shopping again and going on vacation but the store is still going strong! The name “Stamping Fools” was suggested by Valerie’s husband since he thought we were “fools” for opening the store – we still laugh about that all these years later A few years ago we also started exhibiting at local retail conventions. We had so much fun doing shows that we now participate in approximately 20 shows each year around the country. Check out our schedule to see where we’ll be. Stamping Fools is not a large store but we’ve utilized all our square footage- we have thousands of pretty and cute stamps, the full line of Flower Soft (plus our own smaller containers), tons (literally) of 8 ˝ x 11 cardstock and 12x12 paper and cardstock, hundreds of paper punches, plus all the accessories you could want – adhesives, markers, tools, embellishments, stamp pads, embossing powders, and STUFF! We have classes every week – nearly every Saturday and some Sundays, plus bi-weekly classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. |
